Hintergrund und Geschichte des ILTHOS
Das Gesundheitssystem hat in den vergangenen Jahren einen wesentlichen gesellschaftlichen, wirtschaftlichen sowie technischen und wissenschaftlichen Wandel erfahren, woraus sich neue Qualifikationsanforderungen als auch Herausforderungen an das Gesundheitspersonal ergeben . Diese Veränderungen plädieren für eine Akademisierung der Gesundheitsberufe und gleichzeitig zu einem Bedarf an einer Neugestaltung der Studiengänge an den Hochschulen. In diesem Zusammenhang besteht die Notwendigkeit einer Weiterentwicklung von Angeboten für die Qualifikation der Lehrenden und deren Aus-, Fort- sowie Weiterbildung. Die Lehrer:innenbildung für berufsbildende Schulen mit ihrem Fokus auf Körperpflege, Pflege und Gesundheit sind von diese Entwicklungen am stärksten betroffen. Das ILTHOS knüpft genau dort mit einer curricularen Gestaltung und Weiterentwicklung der erwähnten Berufsschullehramtsstudiengänge an. Dabei sollen sowohl Fachwissen und fachpraktische Inhalte als auch der Praxisanteil gleichermaßen Berücksichtigung finden, um sowohl die theoretische Auseinandersetzung mit didaktischen Lerninhalten als auch die praktische Umsetzung dieser zu gewährleisten. Auf diese Weise soll Erfahrungs- und Alltagswissen von den Studierenden verknüpft und berufliche Handlungskompetenzen angebahnt werden.
„Die Parallelität von Berufstätigkeit und Qualifizierung an Hochschulen setzt didaktische Handlungsformen voraus, die eine Verknüpfung von Lerninhalten (systematisch und erfahrungsbasiertes Wissen) einerseits und Lernformen (kognitives und erfahrungsgestütztes Lernen) andererseits realisieren können“
.
Das ILTHOS wurde 2016 mit einer interprofessionellen Lehr- und Lernumgebung für jene Studiengänge der Gesundheits- und Humandienstleistungsberufe an der Universität Osnabrück etabliert und richtet sich gleichermaßen an Studierende und Lehrende. Für die Umsetzung dieser Ziele wurde der aus der Medizin und den Gesundheitsberufen stammende Ansatz simulationsbasierten Lernens sowie das Skills-Lab-Konzept etabliert und führte somit zu einer Institutionalisierung eines zusätzlichen Lernortes. Das ILTHOS setzt sich aus drei Labore (Skills Lab, Living Lab und Teaching Lab) zusammen, die bereits am Institut für Gesundheitsforschung und Bildung (IGB) im Bereich des Skills und Living Labs in die Lehre und Forschung eingebunden werden konnten.
Das Physiotherapie Setting im Skills Lab
Die Labore spiegeln die Räumlichkeiten berufstypischer Arbeitsumgebungen detailgetreu wider und verfügen über die gleiche mobiliare und technische Ausstattung. Auf diese Weise werden Szenen aus dem Berufsalltag mittels realistischer Trainingsumgebungen nachgestellt. Die Video- und Tontechnik ermöglicht ein Aufzeichnen des Einsatzes in den Laboren, welche für das Debriefing (Nachbesprechung von Simulationen) oder für die Selbstreflexion von Studierenden genutzt werden können. Durch den Einsatz geschulten Personals für Simulationszwecke entsteht die Möglichkeit einer reellen Rückmeldung für alle am Lernprozess Beteiligten.
